MV Factory

— A next-generation module that grows 30 times faster—without relying on sunlight.

The MV Factory is a fully circular cultivation module
designed to grow Mother Vegetables—used in food, beauty, and health—
with world-leading speed and consistency.

Why did algae cultivation—once hailed as a beacon of hope—reach a dead end?

sample.png

Once seen as a resource of the future,
algae captured the attention of researchers and companies around the world.
It grows while absorbing CO₂,
and holds potential as both food and fuel—
offering a vision that inspired great hope.

Everyone believed that with enough light, algae would grow.
No one doubted that sunlight was the key to its success.

But in reality, this "plant of the future" never made it to commercial viability.

The Limitations of Algae Cultivation

Unstable growing conditions due to weather and seasonal changes

Fluctuations in sunlight, temperature, and humidity lead to inconsistent growth rates and quality.

Difficulties in managing open ponds and tanks

Constant risk of contamination from bacteria, foreign species, and spoilage.

Long harvesting cycles and labor-intensive processes

Manual labor is always required for cleaning, harvesting, and water quality control.

Requires vast land areas (leading to environmental destruction)

Due to low production efficiency, extensive equipment is needed.
(It requires 700 times more land compared to our method,
yet yields only about 5% of our product output.)

Limited ability to produce a wide range of products

Only about 20 strains of algae are available, restricting product variety.

High manufacturing costs make mass production impractical

Unit prices become too expensive, hindering practical use in food and cosmetics.

Why the MV Factory
is Gaining Global Attention

The Secret Behind the World's Fastest and Most Diverse Production
International Patent No. WO2023234767

The MV Factory achieves a cultivation speed approximately 30 times faster than conventional methods.
At its core is a fully controlled, proprietary AI cultivation system that operates independently of external environmental factors.
This AI system manages and produces 2,000 uniquely characteristic varieties of Mother Vegetables.

What hindered growth was
sunlight itself

“Plants and algae need sunlight to grow.”
No one ever questioned this belief.
But sunlight can be too strong,
nonexistent at night,
and constantly affected by weather conditions.

In truth, sunlight was disrupting the growth cycles of plants and algae.

Listening to the voices of Mother Vegetables and giving them gentle light.

In response, we developed a proprietary technology where AI controls the lighting,
illuminating only when a Mother Vegetable signals that it “wants light.”

As a result, we achieved cultivation speeds 30 times faster than conventional algae farming,
enabling diverse varieties of Mother Vegetables to reach product-level quality.

This cultivation technology is protected under International Patent WO2023234767
and has already been implemented as a next-generation, globally adaptable growth platform
with proven reproducibility, versatility, and safety.

MV Factory: Flexible Installation,
Anywhere

The MV Factory is a reproducible module that functions on urban rooftops, in mountainous regions,
and even in disaster-affected areas.
It also absorbs approximately 700 times more CO₂ than natural grass,
helping purify the air.

Examples of Installable Locations

School

Building rooftop

Disaster zones, and areas cut off from logistics

Underground shelters

Abandoned farmland, and closed schools

On water, in deserts, or extreme cold—beyond farming's reach.

Turning places where nothing can grow into places where life thrives—
that is the power of the MV Factory.

[Implementation Case 1]
Approved by the Fisheries Agency — Installed at Kawazu Port in Izu

On April 4, 2025, it was decided that an MV Factory will be constructed at Shimokawazu Fishing Port in Kawazu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, officially designated as a "Marine Industry Promotion Area."
(Kawazu is known as the setting for The Dancing Girl of Izu and famous for its Kawazu cherry blossoms.)

Various types of Mother Vegetables grown in the MV Factory will provide nourishment for both human consumption and marine ports suffering from depleted food sources due to rising sea temperatures.

[Implementation Case 2]
Joint Project with the Malaysian Government
Construction of MV Factory begins on land equivalent to 40 Tokyo Domes

In March 2025, construction of the MV Factory began in collaboration with the Malaysian government.
Spanning approximately 200 hectares—the equivalent of 40 Tokyo Domes—the project is a beacon of hope for Malaysia, a nation facing food shortages due to population growth and environmental pollution stemming from rapid economic development.

[Business Partnership]
Business Alliance with JTB Research Institute, Japan’s Leading Travel Industry Think Tank

The dotpb Group (via its subsidiary, the National Association for Promoting Sister Fisheries Cooperatives Inc.) has formed a business partnership with JTB Research Institute to jointly develop a new model of circular tourism centered on tourism, environment, and food.

As part of this collaboration, the two parties are co-developing new sustainable tourism experiences and educational programs in Japan, incorporating hands-on cultivation activities using the MV Factory.

Amid growing interest in the future of food and health, this initiative proposes a new kind of travel experience that allows participants to “see,” “learn,” and “cultivate” as part of an educational and immersive journey.

Next step
